　　在這裏，想要美美的拍照，根本不可能。看看照片就知道了。大風口位於陡峭的科歐拉烏山脈，因為有來自東北方的強風狂吹，因而得名。

　　來這裏可千萬別穿裙子，也別戴帽子，連站都站不穩了，想拉都沒得拉。除了風勁強大，這裡的景色也十分壯麗。

　　先仔細看看這兩張圖，下圖是描述當時卡美哈美哈國王於1795年戰勝歐胡島酋長的古戰場。這場戰役事關夏威夷的主權之爭。

　　古代的夏威夷有許多部落，互相爭奪地盤，當時夏威夷族節節敗退逃到此地，眼看大勢已去，士兵們紛紛跳下高約1000英呎的懸崖自殺。不料一陣大風吹來，跳下懸崖的人，反倒被風吹起，敵人一看，以為是天神幫助夏威夷族，立即投降，夏威夷族因此得到最後的勝利，這是當地傳說，不一定可信。
